Rest 1 minute
Tabata Squat
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Pull-up
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Push-up
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Sit-up
The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals.
The Sum of your Tabata numbers for each movement (lowest number you are able to sustain) is typically your Tabata score.  Some have argued that this scoring system values strategy over will, determination, or raw effort - implying somehow that it’s more important to pace yourself than to go hard.  I have even seen Tabata workouts where 50% of the work interval is wasted in the name of strategy.  Today, the only strategy that will be rewarded is turning it on and going 100% every single interval.  In addition to posting your Tabata score on Beyondthewhiteboard.com, you will post your score for todays workout (Tabata number + Total # of Reps) to the red “comments” link directly below the picture on today’s post.  Include any other thoughts/comments you may have in your post – that’s what this section of the website is devoted to…
