Wow!  What proud and inspiring weekend it’s been for the local CrossFit community!  We would like to thank everyone who made the Vegas Fit Wars possible this year.  The event was a huge success, more so than any of us could have hoped.  The day went off without a hitch; Billy kept his shirt on almost the whole time and we were even graced with mild temperatures and a break from the week’s wild wind! Special thanks go to the host, CrossFit Las Vegas, for providing a great outdoor arena and for their support and organization.  We can’t say enough about how much the CrossFit community has grown locally and we’re proud to say it’s comprised of athletes, coaches, spectators and family who all seem to sweat enthusiasm and bleed victory!  Each and every athlete took their abilities, both physically and mentally, to a whole new level this past Saturday. The growth we’ve witnessed in each athlete is awe inspiring and no matter who placed where, we should all take pause and reflect on how far we’ve all come. The proceeds from the Vegas Fit Wars go to the highly deserving Wounded Warrior Project.  Again, thank you to everyone who came out to support this great charity and to all the local CrossFit gyms that made this event a success.
