WOD – May 12, 2014

Congratulations to all our athletes that competed in this weekends Barbell Beatdown!  Big props to Coach Krista and Coach Bobbie for finishing 2nd and 3rd!  And of course Kyle F made the podium, taking the 3rd place spot!  We are so proud of how our box represented!  4 of the top 6 Rxd women were from SCCF, Suzie(6th) and Melissa(5th) rounded out the top 6!  We had 4 guys in t0p 10 rxd mens division including RJ (10th) and Jake P (5th).  Wendy also came in 9th, Dan G 4th, and Christina A 3rd in the scaled divisions!  Click here to check out how everyone else placed!

Work Out of the Day“Run n Sync”In teams of 2, 10 rounds for time of:200m run10 overhead squats, 95/65lbs10 pullupsPost time to beyond the whiteboard.  Both athletes must run together.  One athlete completes pullups, while the other completes overhead squats.  Each round they must alternate movements.  Squats may only be performed while partner is hanging from pullup bar, and pullups may only be performed when partner has bar overhead.Basics800m run70 squats60 situps50 walking lunges40 kb swings, 53/35lb30 burpees20 box jumps, 24/20″10 burpee box jumps, 24/20″Post time to beyond the whiteboard.
