WOD – March 30, 2016

Congratulations to every single one of our members that completed the CrossFit Open this year!  There were so many cool moments along the way and a lot of PRs and firsts for many of you.  We will have to wait another week to find out if our team qualified.  I want to give a shout out to the following athletes that proved their fitness this year:

Resa was 3rd fittest in NV, 8th in the region and 107th in the world in the womens masters 55-60 division!  She will be moving on to the masters regional qualifier and we are so proud of her!

Sarah finished 30th in the region and 3rd in Nevada!  Suzie placed top 100 in region and 7th fittest in NV and Melissa was 11th fittest in NV.  Reahana, Sheena, and Krista also cracked the top 50 fittest in NV.  Jen G, Kaylee, Terra, Wendy are among the top 100 fittest women in all of Nevada!

 Kyle finished 12th fittest in NV and 58th in the southwest region.  Jarett and Billy were 20th and 22nd fittest in NV.  Bryan and Tony made top 60, and Micah, Jake, and Alex top 100 in NV!

Micah is the 2nd fittest firefighter and Brennan and Dale top 10 fittest firefighters in NV!

Tino is the 10th fittest police officer in NV and Jimmy is the 7th fittest police officer in the Masters 45-50 division in NV!

In the Masters women 40-45 division, Christina and Courtney tied for 5th place and Kelly 14th!

Ken was 4th fittest in Nv in the Masters men 40-45 division!

Anna was the 5th fittest in NV in the masters women 45-50 division!

Ray was the 13th fittest and Gary 15th fittest in NV in the 45-50 masters division!

This Saturday we will have our weigh ins for the end of the nutrition challenge!

U.S. Navy Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician David Blake McLendon, 30, of Thomasville, Georgia, assigned to Naval Special Warfare Group 2 Support Activity in Norfolk, Virginia, was killed September 21, 2010, in a helicopter crash during combat operations in the Zabul province of Afghanistan. McLendon is survived by his wife Kate McLendon, his parents David and Mary-Ann McLendon, his brother Chris McLendon, and his sister Kelly Lockman.
